The directions were a little difficult....but
It is definitely a mount worth buying. The directions were too simple. I had to download information directly from Omnimount which provided better visuals and instructions. The best way to mount is to remove the arms first and attach the wall plate. Make sure you have studs 16" apart or this mount is not for you. Once attached to the wall, the rest is a breeze. The T.V. looks wonderful and can be adjusted to any position. I live in California and have no worries about it falling off the wall during an earthquake.

It's a one Heavy Duty Wall Hanger
This is one nice and heavy hanger. Our TV is 147#'s and I wondered about a bracket that would swivel and still hold the weight. It does. The instructions are a little vague, but then it's just a bracket. I thought it would be user friendly for one person, but it takes two people to move it successfully without banging into the walls.

The Best Flat Panel Wall Mount!
After carefully reading reviews on all types of flat panel mounts I decided to go with this one after the overwhelmingly positive reviews on Amazon.

This is a heavy duty mount that will easily hold your large television. I purchased this for my Sharp Aquos 52" LCD and am very pleased. The mount comes with a template that makes installation a breeze. Hint: You will need to have 16" studs to correctly place this mount.

I have absolutely no carpentry skills and I installed this in a little over two hours thanks to the easy directions and the even easier template. The template also comes with a foldable bottom to catch the wall board debris that comes from drilling holes in the walls! In my opinion Omnimount makes the best wall mounts on the market and by far the easiest to install. This mount is a bit pricey but well worth it. The heftier price is made better by the fact that you really will not need to pay a carpenter to install this - its that easy!

Highly recommended Flat screen mount
All the other reviews from Amazon convinced me to purchase this unit. The silver unit was significantly cheaper than the black. It does not show in my situation so I saved the $$. Excellent mount, easy to install, and performs as advertised. The directions were not the best, but the set up and mounting is fairly straight forward. I have a 52" Sony mounted on this unit and it is very solid. Movement is easy and steady out to full extension. EXCELLENT PRODUCT.

AMAZING and worth every penny!
I LOVE THIS MOUNT!

I bought a huge flat panel television and did the research to figure out how to mount it on the wall. I started looking at all my options and only included this in that spirit. I had no intention of paying upwards of 0 for a mount!

Well, after reading several raving reviews I started getting interested. Nothing else had prompted such a passionate response. Now I know why!

The review that really pushed me over was the guy who recommended downloading the installation instructions and assured everyone that it really wasn't that difficult to install. He was right!

I went ahead with the purchase and the next day downloaded the instructions. After reading them over a couple times I had a clear understanding of how I was going to mount this thing. When it arrived I set aside some time on a Saturday and I put up my 50" Plasma TV, on this mount, ALL ALONE!

That's right a one man install! It was so straight forward and easy.

It took about 3 hours to get it all done but I wasn't rushing either. Here's what I did and what you can do also...

- set the printed instructions in a pile and used parts list to confirm contents
- set all the pieces out in the order I would install them to get the big picture
- used my stud finder to find the best install location (it MUST hit center on 2 studs and you must drill holes to mount it)
- used the included mounting guide with self adhesive strip to mark my holes (it even comes with a sawdust catching tray pocket - so cool!)
- grabbed my trusty cordless drill and the right sized bit and dilled holes
- used my socket set to mount the back plate to the wall
- mounted the bracket to the back of my TV
- attached the cantilever arm to the wall bracket
- hung the TV on the arm and tightened the bolts

Done!

The key to making the job so easy is to seperate the arm from the mounting bracket. Otherwise I could see it being unruly to manage.

I LOVE THIS MOUNT!!!

My huge TV pulls out away from the wall and tilts in all 4 directions (left, right, up, down) with such ease and grace.

When it's pushed flat to the wall it looks so slick and neat and when I pull it out jaws tend to drop... very satisfying.

The mount is capable of holding a foolish amount of weight (I'm 250lbs and I hung off it) and the quality of the item is really top notch - good job OmniMount!

I would highly recommend this mount to anyone over a simple tilt up/down cheapo - it's worth the extra couple hundred bucks!

This product was very easy to assemble and mount on the wall. Securely held the 65 inch tv that I mounted and the tilt works well to make viewing easier.

Plasma TV Mount
This is a very nice mount. Comes with pretty much everything you need. i mounted a 60" Pioneer and it works very well.

As advertised.
Bought for a 46" Panasonic Plasma TV. Easy to install and works as advertised. Only issue is the belief that I could mount on the wall and tilt it forward enough to do my connections. Not the case. It does tilt to improve viewing angles, but not enough to really make connections. Great thing about this mount is the ability to easily slide the TV left or right instead of taking the whole thing down and remounting if you decide the TV should go "a little more to the left". Plus, the price on Amazon was over a hundred bucks cheaper than my local stores. No worries about having my 00.00 plasma mounted on the wall with this mount. In addition, it will be very easy to mount a larger HDTV in the future.

No support for Sharp Aquos 65" LCD
Come on guys, would it kill you to add the 4 m10-5-30mm (asin:B0008GP880).80 bolts to the package and make the slots on the brakers wide enought to take the 10mm bolt? After all, it is the only 65" lcd on the market, so it sounds like a great idea to support it, but groteskly overlooked by some rookie engineers!?

With regards to the bolts, Home Depot has them, but the other user who left a review on the bolts left some importan information out (cost me 3 trips to the store), there are 3 types of M10 sizes, M10-1 M10-5 and M10-25. The right size is M10-5-30mm. You will have to file the slots on each of the 4 corners in order to fit the new bolts. This is a bit tedious and it takes about 30 mins to complete.

Feel Safe Hanging your Expensive TV
Yes, the install is easy. Yes, It came with everything you could possibly need for any Flat Panel TV 27" to 84". But what really matters is do you feel safe mounting more than 00.00 of equipment on your wall. I Weight about 180lbs and I was doing pull ups on this thing before I put my TV on it. I was more worried about the wall but this product is HEAVY DUTY. Worked perfectly with my LG 47LC7DF 47" LCD HDTV . LOL - I almost did not put my TV up so I had a place to do pull ups at home. - LOL!.

Not too happy
When I recieved the product, the box looked as if it was used as a beer pong table for generations upon generations of frat life. Once I opened the box, I found most of the pieces were either scratched, or the corners of the top portion of the stand were bent upwards. Most of the small bags containing the screws and such were torn open, leading me on at least a half hours worth of digging around to find loose screws and fasteners through all the packing material. Other than that, it's a very sturdy and nice looking stand for my flat screen TV. A 47" LCD fits perfectly on top. I don't know if it's how the company stores the furniture, or how they ship it, but it was completely ridiculous the condition I recieved the product in.

Top of the Low-End?
I decided to check this model out at my local Sears before purchasing online. Boy, am I glad I did.

First of all, every joint needs to be reinforced with wood glue (not included). Don't think you are simply going to put this together with the hardware that's included and it is going to stay that way. You need the wood glue to reinforce all of those joints.

As for the material, it is pretty solid composite pressboard with a VERY thin wood "veneer" on it. I nicked the "veneer" with my thumbnail easily. If you have kids or expect to set things on this without leaving a mark, you are out of your mind! The material itself seems very sturdy...this is no paper-thin pressboard and is a heavy unit, but it's appearance is not going to stand up to much. In addition, the doors use cheap hinges and do not fit squarely.

Also, this unit is very short. My wife said it looked too small even for our tiny living room.

There are some good things about this piece: The shelves are adjustable and can fit pretty much any component you have, it LOOKS great, and the material can physically (NOT cosmetically) probably stand up to a bit of use.

Think carefully before buying this. It may be great for your first apartment, but if you are looking for furniture that is going to last you for 5-10 years, this is certainly not what you want. It LOOKS great when it is freshly assembled, but that won't last long.

This TV stand is high-quality and looks great. I have many nice pieces of furniture from travels in England and Germany and I have received as many kudos for this "mail-order" stand as some antiques I own. This TV stand is stylish and well built...you can't go wrong by ordering this item.

More than I expected
I had bought a new 46 inch lcd and needed a stand.I saw that Amazon carried the Techcraft Veneto 48 inch stand and decided to purchase it. The picture on the web site matched my furnishing and when I recieved it, the material looked much better that the picture. It took me about 1 hour to assemble and with my new 46 inch lcd the combination looks fantastic. Before my purchase with Amazon I priced tv stands at my local stores and the prices were higher and the quality was lower. This stand fits my needs and it will fit anyone who desires a stand that looks like a nice piece of furniture and the cost is reasonable. Also the delivery was in three days...

Very nice piece of furniture!
I love my new TV stand. My boyfriend put it together so not sure how easy that was. It looks great though!! I hear this has been discontinued as I had to go through 4 different vendors b/f I actually received. Many sites SAID they had it but none did. Amazon finally came through.

Good bracket at a great price
I first shopped for wall mounts at our local Best Buy store and the cheapest one for our 37" Sony LCD tv was 0! I was surprised to find this one online for about 0 less. The included instructions are not well written, so it took us a little bit of trial & error to get it together correctly. It seems very sturdy and I like that it can pull out from the wall a full 20" (some only reach about 10"). My only complaint, which is very minor, is that it's a little stiff - so to pull out the tv from the wall (or push it back) takes a little work. But, it's not like we need to do that constantly, so it's a minor hassle considering we saved so much money buying this one from Amazon.

Works well.
I purchased this mount for use with my 32" Samsung LCD. It works perfectly and provides full range of motion.

Very Strong and easy to install
Highly recommend! This is the second peerless wall arm we have bought and installed and they are both working out well. They seem to be a strong support for our TV's and they were not difficult for my husband to install. The swivel bracket gives us an unlimited choice of angles to turn the TV's.

Just what I needed
This bracket was easy to install and works great.
It is a bit of a challenge getting the TV on the bracket, however, so be sure to have a strong adult with you to help when it's time to hang the TV onto the wall bracket.
I'd buy another.

Sleek look ruined by required add-on adapter plate
I loved the look of this, until I tried to fit it to my Sharp Aquos 32" TV which has a VESA 300x300 mount pattern. You need an additional "adaptor plate", and it costs over 0! It's a piece of metal with holes, for heaven's sake! So I bought it, and now I am disappointed - the combo cost over 0, and it's ugly. The adaptor plate sticks out and it's just gross. And the plate also prevents the TV from going back flush against the wall as it might have done with just the basic articulating arm mount.

How difficult would it have been for Peerless to have simply put in a few extra pieces of metal to reach the 300x300 mounting holes? It's a Sharp 32" TV - not like some obscure brand.

Mediocre.
I bought this TV stand from a Target store. The box is fairly light and easy for one man to carry. When I got home I began to assemble it and was pleasantly surprised at the ease and speed with which I was able to put it together. However, once done, I discovered that one of the plastic screw-ends that fits into a leg below the lowest shelf - had snapped off.

Maybe I applied to much force when tightening it, although I don't consider myself to be uncommonly strong.

In any event, I had to disassemble the whole thing and take the broken part back to the store. Fortunately they had another box, which they opened for me and gave me a replacement. Still, this had lead me to think that the quality of the materials is lacking.

Additionally, the whole setup feels a bit unstable. I put my 23" CRT TV on it, while I wait for my new 40" LCD to arrive, and for some reason it doesn't look too safe.

Perfect TV Stand for up to a 42" LCD
This stand is ridiculously cheap and in my opinion looks just as nice as some of the more expensive (0+) TV stands out there. Incredibly easy to set up with no tools required -- you just simply screw each of the parts into place with your hand, a process that took me about 5 minutes to complete. Sturdy, efficient, and looks like it should costs more than it did. Holds up to a 42" LCD or a 27" conventional monitor, or about 58 pounds I believe. If you have a TV within this size range this stand is perfect -- great bang for your buck.
